RAYUS Radiology in Orlando, FL is seeking a Technologists Assistant II to support technologists and provide patient care, from intake to procedure assistance. This per diem position offers flexible schedules and opportunities to contribute to diagnostic imaging services.

The role focuses on scheduling, room setup, patient prep, and maintaining clean imaging spaces, with preferred background in radiology support and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• One year experience as a Technologists Assistant I.
• Prefer High School diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists during imaging procedures and prep rooms.
• Greet, escort and prepare patients for procedures.
• Prepare patient jackets and organize films by date and number.
• Assist with room setup between patients and adjust equipment as needed.
• Prepare the next patient for scanning to optimize scheduling.
• Restore and network previous exams for the next day's patients.
