Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Technologists Assistant II for the West Palm Beach area; this part-time role supports technologists with patient care, scheduling, and room preparation in a busy imaging department.

The 24-hour weekly position runs Monday through Friday from 4:30pm to 9:00pm, with an evening differential. Applicants should be at least 16 years old and have one year of Technologists Assistant (I) experience; a high school diploma or enrollment in a radiologic program is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• One (1) year experience as a Technologists Assistant (I).

Responsibilities

• 70% Technologist Assistance: Monitors schedules for all modalities, arthrograms, and image scans, adjusting as necessary and informing technologists of changes.
• Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains procedure.
• Prepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in jacket according to date and number.
• Assists technologists in room setup between patients, including coil placement and changing table sheets.
• Prepares the next patient for scanning to optimize scheduling.
• Restores and networks all previous exams for next day's returning patients.
