Job summary

MercyOne in the Des Moines metro area is hiring a Radiology Tech to provide diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by radiologists in the Radiology Department.

As a full-time, day-shift role, the candidate must complete an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program, maintain ARRT/NMTCB certification, and hold a current state license with BLS certification. MercyOne offers growth opportunities within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Two-year accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Maintains active ARRT/NMTCB registry status.
• Maintains current state license/permit to practice Radiology.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by radiologists.
• Provide patient care in Radiology Department.
• Adhere to safety protocols and equipment maintenance.

General Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB)
• Maintains active ARRT registry status
• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
