Job summary

Mobridge Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures. Preference for a full-time position, but part-time or PRN will be considered.

The role requires precise work, adherence to safety procedures, and excellent patient communication. Responsibilities include preparing equipment and exam rooms, monitoring patient safety during exams, documenting data in the EMR, and producing diagnostic images across X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, Nuc/Med, 3D Mammography, and Mobile

Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist education required.
• Ability to communicate instructions clearly to nervous patients.
• Commitment to safety procedures and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and exam rooms.
• Monitor and ensure patient safety during exams.
• Document patient information and testing results in the EMR.
• Report information to the physician.
• Produce diagnostic images across modalities (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, Nuc/Med, 3D Mammography, Mobile MRI).

Job description

Mobridge Regional Hospital currently has an opening for a Radiology Technologist-

Prefer a full time Tech, but would consider Part Time or even PRN.

This position does require specific education as a Radiology Technologist.

The position requires precise work and attention to detail as well as adherence to strict safety procedures. Applicants must have excellent communication skills as a large part of the position is communicating specific instructions to patients who may be nervous as they go through various procedures.

• Prepare equipment and examination rooms for use as needed.
• Monitor and ensure safety of patients during exams
• Document patient information and testing results, procedures in the EMR system,
• Report information as noted to the physician.
• Produce diagnostic images of breast tissues, use Ultra sound to obtain images of organs and tissues in the body.
• Administer trace amounts of radiopharmaceuticals to a patient to obtain functional information about organs, tissues and bone.

Modalities include X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, Nuc/Med, 3D Mammography, and Mobile MRI.

Will train into all areas.
