The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety as the highest priority. This position performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography in accordance with physician orders, established protocols, and radiation safety standards. The Radiologic Technologist provides compassionate patient care, prepares patients for imaging procedures, operates imaging equipment, ensures accurate documentation within the electronic medical record, and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment. This role also maintains compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, participates in continuing education and competency training, and contributes to a safe, efficient, and patient-centered imaging department.
