Job summary

A healthcare organization in Lakeland, TN, is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures with a focus on patient care. Candidates should be graduates of an accredited imaging program with BLS certification and ideally have some experience. • Performs radiographic exams as requested by a licensed physician.
• Complete established competencies within designated introductory period and perform related duties as assigned.

Job description

Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Perform radiographic exams on all patients as necessary. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology
• Technologist is required to properly perform all duties related to general interventional, vascular interventional and all neuro and neuro-vascular (stroke) studies performed in the department.
• Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations.
• Performs basic to complex diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician
• Responsible for assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications
• Performs related duties as required
