Job summary

Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under minimal supervision. You will apply x-ray energy and provide high-quality images to aid diagnosis for patients of all ages.

Under minimal supervision, you will rotate through advanced areas such as OR and trauma, participate in fluoroscopy and arthrography, and complete required competencies in the introductory period. Join our team and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
• ARRT eligibility; ARRT within one year post-graduation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and any required state license.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree; 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic radiographs across multiple areas including OR and trauma.
• Assist with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.
• Complete required competencies within the introductory period.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x‑ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotating through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma.
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.
• Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • ARRT or registry eligible
    • Must have ARRT within one year post‑graduation
    • BLS, state license if required
• Preferred Requirements:
  • Education: Associate’s degree
  • Experience: 1-3 years
