Job summary

St Mary's Hospital - Kankakee, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Radiology Technologist for per diem coverage in the Imaging department.

You will perform Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures following HFAP/TJC and CMS guidelines and ensure images are transmitted to PACS.

The role requires ARRT-R licensure, fluoroscopy permit, BCLS, and at least one year of Radiology Tech experience; benefits and a competitive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• State licensure and fluoroscopy permit required.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of Radiology Technologist experience.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocol and regulatory standards.
• Act as primary point of contact with patients and staff to meet imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities and ensures image transmission to PACS.

• Location: 500 W Court, Kankakee IL

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

2. ARRT-R is required.

3. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.

4. Current BCLS (AHA).

5. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.

6. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
