Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Henryetta, OK is seeking a variable shift, PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with x-ray, C-arm, and portable units. The role requires attention to patient safety, positioning, and high quality exams.

You will prep patients, operate equipment, assist physicians with invasive procedures, and participate in performance improvement initiatives; ARRT registry or eligible and BLS within 14 days of hire are required.

Qualifications

• A thorough knowledge of x-ray equipment, anatomy and positioning is essential for a quality exam.
• Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.

• Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta is a 30-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including cardiology, emergency, women’s services, general surgery, rehabilitation, withdrawal stabilization and surgery.
• This position is accountable for operating the x-ray rooms, c-arms, and portables in a safe and proficient manner.
• Help clean rooms and equipment and order supplies, assist physicians with invasive procedures and administer basic C.P.R.
• A thorough knowledge of x-ray equipment, anatomy and positioning are essential for a quality exam.

Job Requirements:

• Vocational/technical education
• Registered with ARRT or registry eligible
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
