Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Denver, CO, is hiring a Radiology Technician to provide quality patient care and perform diagnostic imaging. The role is full-time with entry-level seniority. Candidates should have an HS diploma, an RT (ARRT) certification, and a current BLS certification. Competitive hourly pay ranging from $27.97 to $42.33, with additional benefits including medical and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities

Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice.
Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.
Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologist and other hospital personnel.
Assure current standards of practice for the unit.

Mon‑Thur, 8:30p‑7a

Qualifications

Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required
One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
HS diploma or GED required
Registered Technologist, Radiology‑R‑T. (R) (ARRT) required
Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required

Physical Requirements

Exert up to 50‑lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20‑lbs frequently, and/or up to 10‑lbs constantly.
