Job summary

Texas Orthopedics, a Division of OrthoLonestar, seeks a Radiation Safety Officer and working X-ray Tech to support Directors of Patient Services and Office Managers. You will perform routine QA checks, assist with training, and help hire radiology staff while ensuring safety compliance and high-quality imaging across clinics.

You will take radiographs, prepare patients, and collaborate with physicians to deliver safe, accurate readings while maintaining OSHA standards and patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ARRT or LMRT certification; ARRT preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably orthopedics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Quality Assurance checks for radiography positioning.
• Assist with training of new hires and remedial training.
• Oversee Radiation Safety and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Take X-rays following established patient safety procedures.
• Coordinate with physicians to ensure quality patient care.
• Travel to other locations for coverage as needed.
