Job summary

Connections Healthcare Staffing seeks a Team Lead in Radiology for a midsized Raleigh hospital. The role focuses on guiding daily diagnostic imaging workflow, mentoring staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care on the 1:30pm–10:00pm shift.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT Radiography certification, 3+ years of radiology experience, and leadership exposure. This on-site position emphasizes safety, training, and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6 months of clinical radiology experience – Required.
• 3 years of clinical radiology experience – Required.
• Leadership experience – Preferred.
• Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) – Required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily workflow of diagnostic imaging services on your assigned shift.
• Serve as the point person for staff when supervisors or managers are not present, ensuring consistent operations and timely patient care.
• Support the orientation, education, and ongoing training of Radiology employees, partnering closely with management.
• Function as a liaison between team members and leadership, helping communicate priorities, updates, and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient safety, service quality, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives, including programs designed to reduce error and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain your role as a practicing technologist, demonstrating high standards of clinical quality and patient-centered care.
