Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking a PACS/RIS Network Administrator to lead technical oversight of the PACS system. The role includes planning, directing and supervising all technical aspects, and ensuring policy development in collaboration with the Imaging Services leadership.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or substantial related experience, with preference for 5 years of clinical PACS/RIS exposure and strong MIS system proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or extensive experience in lieu of degree.
• Prefer 5 years clinical experience in applicable field, PACS and/or RIS experience.

• Plan, direct and supervise all technical aspects for the PACS system.

Overview

Coordinates the budget and PACS expansions with the Imaging Services Director and Chief Information Officer.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

Education:

Require Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university. May consider extensive experience in lieu of degree.

Experience:

Prefer 5 years clinical experience in applicable field. Prefer PACS and/or RIS experience.

Additional Skills/Abilities:

Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be able to become proficient in use of hospital MIS system and department RIS computer system.
