Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certification from an accredited School of Radiology.
• ARRT radiography (R) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment (c-arms and ERCP) to obtain diagnostic images as directed by physicians.
• Prepares patients, adjusts equipment, and positions for procedures; ensures optimal images.
• Maintains ALARA principles and protects patient from unnecessary exposure.
• Takes x-ray images with portable equipment in various hospital areas; observes sterile techniques.
• Mentors students and participates in training within the Radiology Department.
