Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians,Inc. is seeking an Imaging Tech Assistant in Olentangy Radiology to support imaging technologists and serve as a patient resource during procedures.

The role involves coordinating with physicians and radiologists to relay results and ensure patient preparedness at every step. Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety hazards common to radiology and radiation safety.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work on a team and maintain positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exam schedules and identify required prior studies.
• Request prior exams from outside facilities via phone, fax, or email.
• Assist imaging technologists under supervision.
• Help patients reach appropriate modality areas and prepare them for procedures.
• Process routine paperwork and share facility information with patients.
• Coordinate with Precertification for exam authorizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock radiology supplies.
• Attend staff and educational meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
