Atlantic Medical Imaging in Brick, NJ is seeking a Full-time Technical Aide to support the Women's Imaging and MRI teams at the Brick Women's Center. The role combines patient-facing duties with preparation, safety, and workflow support in a busy outpatient radiology practice.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma (some college preferred), BLS certification, and willingness to work in an MRI environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred).
• AHA or Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required with ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Willingness and ability to work in an MRI zone is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on positive patient experience.
• Must be highly organized with attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to use standard office equipment are required.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors; serves as first point of contact.
• Assists technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and wheelchair transport.
• Monitors waiting rooms and communicates delays as needed.
• Escorts patients to changing areas and assists with dressing while maintaining privacy.
• Maintains infection control, cleans rooms, and restocks supplies.
• Supports stat exam management and documents appropriately in patient notes.
• Prepares imaging rooms between patients and ensures safety standards are met.
• Assists with communications to providers for stat exams and urgent findings.
• Maintains compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Handles office rounding, scheduling confirmations, and documentation support as assigned.
• Provides lift assist assistance and supports MRI and Women's Imaging tasks as needed.
