Atlantic Medical Imaging seeks a full-time Technical Aide to support the Womens Imaging, Ultrasound, and MRI teams at the Toms River location. The role includes patient greeting, preparation, and transport, plus equipment setup and infection control duties.

The position requires BLS certification within 30 days and willingness to work in an MRI zone. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates well, and can handle high patient volume while maintaining care quality and privacy.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• AHA or Red Cross BLS certification required, willing to obtain within 30 days.
• Willingness to work in MRI zone and radiology environment.
• Previous radiology practice experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, serving as the first point of contact.
• Assist technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and wheelchair transport.
• Monitor waiting rooms and communicate delays to staff as needed.
• Escort patients to changing areas and assist with gowns, maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Help with laundry, restock supplies, and maintain infection control standards.
• Assist with stat exam workflow and document appropriately in records.
• Prepare imaging rooms between patients and maintain cleanliness.
• Support MRI and Women imaging tasks under supervision as assigned.
• Make patient confirmation calls and assist with records as needed.
