Job summary

Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time Technical Aide to support Women’s Imaging, Ultrasound, and MRI teams in the Wall office location. This role involves patient greeting, prep assistance, and logistics across imaging departments.

The position supports a busy outpatient radiology practice with opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates are high school graduates with basic life support certification and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• AHA or Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required and must obtain within 30 days.
• Willing and able to work in an MRI zone.
• Previous radiology practice experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills with standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors, serving as the first point of contact.
• Assists technologists with patient prep, positioning, and transport.
• Monitors waiting rooms and communicates delays.
• escorts patients and manages changing areas while maintaining privacy.
• Cleans and restocks gowns and related items following infection control standards.
• Supports stat exam workflow and communicates priorities.
• Prepares imaging rooms between patients with infection control in mind.
• Maintains cleanliness of changing rooms and supplies.
• Communicates with providers for Stat exams and notes in patient records.
• Upholds HIPAA and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Assists with MRI and ultrasound workflows under supervision.
• Participates in meetings and training as required.
