Job summary

CCMC Camden Clark Medical Center is seeking a part-time Radiology Support/Technician role to greet patients, assist in imaging procedures, and coordinate department workflow under supervision. The role involves basic patient preparation, handling equipment, and collaboration with Radiology staff to ensure smooth imaging services in a hospital setting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients upon arrival and facilitates the department experience.
• Answers calls in a timely and courteous manner.
• Verifies orders and notifies ordering physicians of inaccuracies.
• Supports Radiologic Technologists in planning and executing routine imaging procedures.
• Prepares patients for basic examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment per department procedures.
• Coordinates outpatient and inpatient workflow between the department and patient floors, ED and OR.
• Transports patients to and from imaging department and assists with arrival/departure.
