Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Radiology Imaging Support Assistant to help prepare patients for imaging exams, assist technologists, and maintain clean, stocked rooms. You will greet patients, transport them as needed, answer phones, and coordinate with nursing and other departments to keep workflows efficient.

Requirements include High School Diploma and BLS, with strong communication and multitasking skills; PRN night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with preparation for imaging exams under supervision.
• Support technologists by positioning patients and preparing rooms.
• Clean and restock imaging rooms between patients.
• Maintain inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment.
• Answer phones and facilitate communication between staff.
• Escort patients to imaging areas and ensure safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
