Radiology Supervisor

MONDAY - FRIDAY PLUS CALL

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Supervisor to lead our radiology department and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare team, oversee daily operations, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of technologists and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist manager in overseeing monthly schedule, coordinating staff training and assisting with staff evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies related to radiology practices.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to facilitate accurate and timely diagnostic imaging.
  • Maintain and update departmental procedures, protocols, and documentation.
  • Monitor equipment performance, coordinate maintenance, and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
  • Manage departmental supplies, and inventory to optimize resource utilization.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and implement improvements to enhance service quality.
  • Assist the manager in maintaining adequate staffing levels by coordinating coverage for open shifts, call-ins, and staffing shortages, as needed. Help identify available staffing resources and coordinate alternative coverage when other staffing options are not available.
Skills And Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging - Valid Arkansas licensure and certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Proven experience in radiology, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of radiology equipment, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
