Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled in a CAHEA radiology program or equivalent.
• Radiology Student Tech II must have completed 12 months of the CAHEA radiological technologist program.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire or transfer.
• Previous clinical rotation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment used to expose X-ray film and develop/organize films.
• Prepare patient rooms, supplies, and medications (contrast agents).
• Transport and monitor patients as needed (Radiology Student Tech I).
• Perform X-rays unsupervised (Radiology Student Tech II) with required competencies.
