Job summary

UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures, including portable and OR imaging, under supervision. You will operate imaging equipment and assist physicians in selecting technical factors while ensuring patient safety and adherence to department policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining image quality, documenting patient interactions, and supporting in reception and scheduling areas.

Qualifications

• Exposure to diverse patient ages and radiologic procedures.
• Completion of first year of didactic education and clinical training.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures and protocols.
• Perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures including portable and in the OR; operate imaging equipment.
• Observe patient and equipment during procedures; document reactions or problems.
• Quality control: evaluate images and provide corrective action.
• Assist in reception and scheduling areas; aid patients and transport as necessary.
