Requires high school diploma, NM license or temporary license, ARRT R.T.(R) preferred; certification within 1 year if not already.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Current New Mexico Radiologic Technologist license or temporary license.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at hire; obtain within 1 year if not certified.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using appropriate equipment and protocols.
• Operates and troubleshoots imaging equipment to ensure quality images and workflow.
• Provides basic patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Completes required documentation and clerical duties.
• Maintains patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Supports orientation of new staff and students during rotations.
• Maintains radiation safety and infection prevention policies.
