UAB Medicine is hiring for radiology imaging technicians across several units, including Main Hospital Radiology Diagnostics, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Highlands Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiology Operations. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging under supervision and assisting radiology staff.

Position Overview

Flat Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour

Shifts: flexi/PRN, part-time benefited

Job Description

To perform diagnostic imaging under the direction of a certified imaging professional. To perform other duties as needed including, but not limited to, patient escort, assisting aides and radiologists.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and current enrollment in a medical imaging technologist program required. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
