Job summary

Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex's Advanced Imaging Center seeks a Medical Assistant/Medical Administrative Assistant to support outpatient radiology operations. You will manage the order entry process, communicate with patients and staff, and maintain medical records with accuracy.

Experience in radiology support and patient handling is preferred, with a High School Diploma or equivalent. The role involves assisting with patient transport and imaging workflows in a modern outpatient setting.

Qualifications

Job Profile Summary

Responsible for the order entry process, communication and guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, responsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical duties. Demonstrates competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats.

Medical Assistants and Medical Administrative Assistants will be considered with a minimum of 3 years experience in a medical environment preferred.
