Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Medical Support role at the Advanced Imaging Center. Responsibilities include order entry, patient communication and guest relations, and medical record maintenance.

The candidate will assist with transporting and positioning patients and operate radiologic systems to transfer digital images. Experience requirements include 3 years in a medical environment preferred, with a High School Diploma or equivalent essential.

Job Profile Summary

Responsible for the order entry process, communication and guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, responsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical duties. Demonstrates competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats.

Medical Assistants and Medical Administrative Assistants will be considered with a minimum of 3 years experience in a medical environment preferred.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.88 - $29.18 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
