Job summary

RAYUS Radiology seeks a Scheduling Specialist to support patients and referring offices by answering calls, scheduling exams, and collecting insurance information. This full-time role runs Monday–Thursday 11:00am–7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am–4:00pm, emphasizing accurate data entry and excellent service.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with computer systems and typing.
• Able to handle multi-level phone system with high call volume.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and handles calls professionally.
• Schedules patient examinations according to policy.
• Obtains and records patient insurance information.
• Ensures patient data is entered into information systems accurately.
• Notifies technologists of scheduling changes to maintain patient satisfaction.
• Provides backup coverage for front office as needed.
• Fields 1-800 number calls and routes to appropriate department.
