Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers (STRIC) seeks a Customer Service Coordinator to ensure smooth patient and physician registration for procedures, utilizing proper telephone etiquette and efficient information forwarding.

You will schedule radiology procedures, perform clerical duties, and support patient accounts while upholding confidentiality and excellent service standards. Training will be provided; RIS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience/training in facility-specific needs.
• Preferred: RIS, Radiology Medical Records training.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and answer inquiries, ensuring treatment information is available.
• Schedule radiology procedures accurately and manage patient flow.
• Coordinate with scheduling staff and update patient history notes.
• Maintain patient accounts and demographics; handle financial information per policy.
• Protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Process film/copy requests and assist in printing as needed.
