Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach is seeking a Radiology Support professional to coordinate daily imaging schedules, support radiologists, and ensure timely exam performance across multiple modalities. The role requires sterile technique, interventional procedure knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Candidates should have high school graduation, with Associate or Bachelor’s degrees preferred. Travel to multiple hospital locations may be required up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Radiologic Science.

Responsibilities

• Creates, distributes, and coordinates daily procedure schedules with Radiologists.
• Assists Radiologists with inpatient and outpatient consultations and minimally invasive imaging-based procedures.
• Coordinates with multiple departments to ensure timely performance of procedures and follows up on incomplete or incorrect exams.
• Provides education to patients, family, and medical staff about exams and procedures, addressing patient needs and anxieties.
• Assists Radiologists in providing timely results to ancillary departments and physician offices, facilitating communication.
• Implements radiologist orders accurately, promptly, and courteously, ensuring effective communication of clinical information.
