Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Radiology nursing experience required.
• Ability to wear lead apron when required.
• Moderate Sedation competency required.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state.
• Current healthcare provider CPR (BLS) and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams within Radiology and Biomedical Imaging.
• Prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and after; assist with moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.
