University Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Radiology Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in the Imaging Department. You will assist with pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care, monitor patients during conscious sedation, and support the team with sterile technique and medication preparation.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing with BLS/ACLS credentials; BSN is preferred. The department emphasizes patient-centered care and adherence to hospital protocols.

Qualificações

• Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred; KBN, BLS, ACLS credentials.
• Licensed in Kentucky (KBN) or eligible for licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Provides safe and effective nursing care in the Imaging Department (pre-, intra-, & post operative).
• Assists with scheduling of invasive procedures and monitors patient flow in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Performs sterile prep prior to invasive procedures and prepares medications/IV contrast per protocols.
• Screens patients prior to invasive procedures (lab values, contrast allergies, etc.).
• Responds to emergencies within the department and documents care per hospital protocol.
• Performs venipuncture as needed throughout the department.
