Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks a skilled registered nurse to assist radiologists in a busy imaging setting. You will prep patients, monitor vitals, administer sedation, and provide direct patient care during imaging procedures.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists, document care in EPIC, respond to emergencies, and support safety and education across the department. Pennsylvania RN licensure is required.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• 3 years medical/surgical nursing experience.
• 1 year critical care experience.
• Ability to obtain and interpret information for age-appropriate care.
• Ability to administer moderate sedation and recognize/treat dysrhythmias.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 90 days.
• RN license in Pennsylvania upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients prior to procedures by reviewing histories and lab values.
• Administer conscious sedation per policy.
• Explain procedures and act as liaison among patient, nursing staff, and physician.
• Notify changes in status and coordinate transport to unit.
• Discharge patients per Aldrette score/Anesthesia guidelines.
• Document in EPic; manage medication records.
• Respond to code blues and RRT in Radiology.
• Collaborate with Pediatric Intensivist for sedation of pediatric cases.
• Perform pre- and post-procedure calls for outpatients.
• Maintain safety and complete patient safety reports and checks.
• Provide clinical resources to staff and maintain equipment and area cleanliness.
• Assist in education and training of new staff.
