Job summary

Charlotte Radiology is seeking an experienced RN/LPN for PRN shift coverage at Ballantyne, Charlotte, NC. The role involves radiology procedures, sedation administration, and critical care support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN/LPN
• Excellent IV skills
• 3-5 years of critical care experience such as ER, ICU, CCU, Telemetry
• Radiology experience a plus
• ACLS/BLS

Responsibilities

• Accurate documentation of patients’ clinical history, procedures, medications and other information in the medical record and CR RIS system
• Assess and treat patients during procedures and during times of medical distress
• Access venous system through an implanted port for contrast administration and/or lab values
• Administer sedation medications as ordered to claustrophobic patients during radiologic procedures
• Maintain inventory of emergency medical supplies, including controlled substance counts
• Perform and adhere to sterile technique and prepare sterile trays for procedures
• Comply with CR organizational and clinical policies applicable to the role
• Assist the technologist with the patient to maximize workflow efficiencies
• Other duties as assigned
