Job summary

UCSF Health in Berkeley is seeking a Registered Nurse with radiology experience to support care before, during, and after radiologic procedures across UCSF sites. You will apply the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires 2-5 years in radiology nursing, ability to wear lead aprons, and Moderate Sedation competency. Flexibility to orient to all UCSF Medical Center locations is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of recent Radiology nursing experience.
• Able to wear a lead apron when required.
• Moderate Sedation competency required.
• Willingness to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams and carries out established nursing procedures.
• Assists with management of patient care by other members of the nursing team.
• Cares for patients undergoing radiology procedures, prepping, during, and after; assists with moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.
