Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the applicable state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; telehealth may apply based on specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient and unit outcomes and takes action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution to foster collaboration.
