Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a Registered Nurse for Radiology Nursing. This full-time position involves 40 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating start times. You may be required to take call every 8th week and during holidays.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, coordinating with the care team, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation. Oncology, pediatrics, and other unit knowledge enhances patient care within this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) with privileges to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and supports patient safety.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care and adhere to age-specific department standards.
