Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology CT Tech to deliver high-quality CT and X-ray exams in a dynamic clinical setting. The role requires MT licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT CT certification, and AHA BLS.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent and documented competencies in Radiology and CT.
  • ARRT advanced certification in CT.
  • Montana licensure as Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

License: Required Montana Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist

Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in CT

Must-Have: American Heart Association BLS certification

Description:This position delivers high quality CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment.Independently performs CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.This role supports outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule.Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent and documented competencies in Radiology and CT is required.Essential job functions include performing quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff.Operates with limited supervision while maintaining high attention to detail and customer needs.Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate.Performs ancillary duties to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.Completes documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times.Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality.Successfully performs essential job functions in a busy and stressful environment.Learns current and new computer applications and office equipment.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.Analyzes, organizes, and prioritizes work while meeting multiple deadlines.This role requires regular and sustained attendance.On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and maintaining a standing posture for extended periods.Maintaining a sitting posture for extended periods may involve adjusting body position to prevent discomfort.Walking and moving within the work area requires good balance and coordination.Occasionally ascends or descends ladders, stairs, and other equipment.Requires the ability to twist, bend, and stoop repeatedly.Involves lifting and carrying objects above the shoulder level.Fine finger movements are continuously needed for tasks such as picking and typing.Close visual acuity is necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures and read computer screens.Cognitive skills include learning new tasks, remembering processes, maintaining focus, and completing tasks independently.Exposures may include bloodborne pathogens and radiation, as well as various chemicals and medications used in healthcare settings.Emotionally challenging situations, such as dealing with distressed patients, may also be part of the role.
