Job summary

UT Health Tyler is seeking a Day Shift, full-time Radiology Prep & Holding Registered Nurse (RN) in Tyler, TX. The RN provides direct patient care, supports radiology procedures, and cares for adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics in a radiation-based imaging environment.

The role requires nursing licensure in Texas with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and a commitment to high-quality patient care within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required (Associate, Diploma, or BSN/MSN).
• Texas RN license must be current.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a defined group of patients.
• Assist the Radiologist with procedures performed in the IR Department.
• Care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients; exposure to ionizing radiation and other imaging modalities.
