Qualifications

• Texas RN license required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct patient care using the nursing process for a defined group of patients.
• Assist Cardiologist with procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab including cardiovascular studies/interventions and special procedures.
• Care for adult and geriatric patients; utilize imaging modalities including ionizing radiation.
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time to the Cath Lab.
• Direct patient care during procedures.
