Job summary

Christie Clinic's Radiology Department seeks a full-time Radiology Practitioner Assistant or Registered Radiologist Assistant in Champaign, IL. 8:00am–5:00pm schedule, sign-on bonus available, and duties include imaging procedures, image evaluation, and patient care under physician supervision.

Required: Bachelor’s in a health care field, RPA/RRA or ARRT certification, Illinois licensure; Master’s preferred. CEU maintenance and ACLS/CPR are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field is required.
• Certification by Board of Radiology Practitioners Assistants and/or ARRT (RRA/RPA).
• Master’s degree is preferred; CPR/ACLS certification required.
• Illinois state licensure and ongoing CEU requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the day’s procedure schedule with the supervising physician.
• Perform radiologic procedures under supervision and guidance.
• Review and discuss images, prepare technical reports.
• Assist in patient management and tumor board participation.
• Maintain continuing education and adhere to ethics and standards.
