Sign-on Bonus, Residency, and Fellowship Stipends in Tennessee

Calling 2025 Fellows! The University Medical Center is a 600+ bed Tertiary Care Academic Medical Center and Regional Level 1 Trauma Center with specialized institutes including Brain & Spine, Cancer, and Heart Lung Vascular. The group is expanding with three outpatient imaging centers.

The practice, comprising over 35 physicians, is seeking a couple of 2024 Fellows trained in Women’s Imaging, Neuro Imaging, and Abdominal/Body Imaging. The Department of Radiology has 24 Diagnostic Radiology Residents and an established molecular/cancer imaging research program.

This position offers the enjoyment of working with and teaching residents in an academic setting while maintaining the independence of a partner-owned and managed practice. Share in 1:5 weekend diagnostic call. The group features a robust internal shift buy/sell system, allowing flexibility for those wishing to work or earn more, or to take more time off by trading shifts. A dedicated overnight and after-hours service team minimizes after-hours call responsibilities.

Compensation includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus, with an additional $50,000 support in the 4th year of residency and $50,000 during fellowship year. Salary starts at $425,000 with 40 days off in the first year, increasing to $475,000 with 50 days off in the second year. Partnership is available after the second year, with salaries ranging from $600,000 to $650,000 and 55 days off.
