Job summary

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a Front Desk Registration/Patient Coordinator to join our patient-focused team. If you enjoy helping patients, have strong communication skills, and work well both independently and as part of a team, we’d love to have you on board.

Position is part-time flex (fully benefits-eligible) with a Monday–Friday schedule, 4:30 PM–11:00 PM at our Huntsville, AL imaging center.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience assisting patients or front desk registration is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and conduct registration and scheduling.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure accurate data entry and records.
• Handle phone inquiries, appointment scheduling, and reminders.
• Assist with inventory and management of medical records in a patient-focused setting.

The Business Office Team is responsible for collaborating and leading the Imaging Center team in providing excellent patient care and supporting the operational goals for both the Center and the organization. This includes all customer and patient-facing responsibilities including welcoming, registering, and overall patient coordination, as well as phone correspondence, scheduling appointments, inventory, and medical record management. The upper levels of this series also include the training, supervision, and management of Business Office team members. The overall scope for this series is designed to ensure the management and resources are available to maintain a quality, high functioning, and customer friendly Outpatient Imaging Center.

EDUCATION:

• To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
