Prisma Health in Greenville is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide quality treatment, referrals and follow-up care in a medical imaging setting. You will work under a physician's supervision within the Radiology - Midlands-Practice Operations department.

The role involves performing histories and exams, ordering tests with physician approval, interpreting results, and contributing to emergency care according to your training. BLS and SC licensure are required; CAQ in EM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PA program
• No previous experience required
• NCCPA certification and SC PA licensure
• BLS certification

Responsabilités

• Performs health histories, physical exams, individual and group health education.
• Orders diagnostic tests with physician approval.
• Interprets results and formulates/treats plan including prescribing meds.
• Refers cases to supervising physician when care is beyond current scope.
• Provides emergency care per training and maintains readiness.
• Supports clinic function by participating in policy development and improvements.
