Prisma Health in Greer Medical Campus seeks a Physician Assistant to provide quality treatment under physician supervision, including referrals and follow-up care in a medical setting.

You will perform health histories and exams, order tests with physician approval, interpret results, and formulate treatment plans, prescribing medications as licensed. Strong communication and medical knowledge are essential; NCCPA certification and SC licensure are required or preferred.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a Physician Assistant program approved by a medical body such as CAHEA, AMA or the Association of Medical Colleges.
• Experience: No previous experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs health histories, physical exams, individual and group health education.
• Orders diagnostic laboratory and radiological tests with physician approval.
• Interprets findings, makes diagnoses, and formulates and carries out treatment plans, prescribing medications as licensed.
• Refers cases to supervising physician when conditions exceed scope of care.
• Provides emergency care to prevent loss of life, limb or eyesight.
• Supports clinic function by contributing to policy development and operational improvements.
