Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Physician in Greenville to provide high-quality medical services within the Prisma Health-University Medical Group, Radiology - Upstate. The role involves patient care, documentation, and collaboration with the Radiology team.

The physician will participate in after-hours coverage and contribute to teaching, research goals, and quality activities as part of a physician-led, academic health center.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with residency completed; board certification or eligibility.
• License to practice medicine in the employment state.
• Controlled Substance License in state of employment.
• DEA Number required.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, prevent, or treat disease and recommend treatments.
• Provide medical care irrespective of payment or patient background.
• Complete accurate medical records using CPT and ICD-10/ ICD-9 codes.
• Provide after-hours call coverage with other physicians.
• Participate in quality assurance, utilization management, patient education, and satisfaction efforts.
• Assist in teaching, research goals, and committees as directed.
