Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago seeks an experienced Radiology Department supervisor to coordinate General Radiology and General Mammography. You will manage technologist scheduling, staffing adjustments, and overtime approvals to ensure weekends, holidays, and vacations coverage, while maintaining high-quality radiographs and patient care.

You will also oversee training, evaluate competency, prepare incident reports, supervise support staff, and participate in Center Operations Meetings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in related field.
• Associate or Certificate of Radiology Technology.
• Post supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate general radiology and mammography scheduling and staffing.
• Verify Time and Attendance records to maintain accuracy.
• Oversee training and evaluate staff competency.
• Attend Center Operations Meetings and provide input.
• Ensure high quality radiographs and patient care.
• Manage film/request processing and reporting.
• Address patient and staff concerns and feedback.
• Maintain department inventory and QA plans.
