Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Radiology Supervisor to lead diagnostic imaging operations and staff after hours. You will oversee Ultrasound, CT, MRI, NM, and IR, ensuring efficient workflow and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT-R certification, SCRQSA, an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program, and prior diagnostic imaging and supervisory experience. Expect to coordinate with the Imaging Management Team and uphold ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification required.
• ARRT-R radiography certification required.
• SCRQSA certification required.
• Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required.
• AMA approved program graduate in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train all technical staff on designated shifts for Radiology.
• Operate imaging modalities after hours, including Ultrasound, CT, MRI, NM, and IR.
• Assist with minor PACS administration and Super User tasks for other facilities.
• Communicate emergent events to Director or administration after hours.
• Perform clerical duties, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, and inventory control as needed.
• Ensure Radiation Protection ALARA compliance and regulatory standards.
