Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Radiology Supervisor in New Jersey. The role serves as liaison between the facility and referring sources for scheduling, pre-authorization and communication needs, and reports volume statistics.

The incumbent supports safety committees and helps drive imaging network initiatives. Required education includes a radiologic technology program, GED/HSD, CPR, and CEU maintenance; 3+ years as a staff technologist is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of a formal school of Radiologic technology.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a staff technologist.
• Must be able to perform CPR.
• Maintains CEU Credits.

Responsibilities

• Liaises between the facility and referring sources for scheduling and pre-authorization.
• Communicates needs and resolves issues affecting referring physicians and customers.
• Provides input to management and helps develop long- and short-term marketing goals and objectives.
• Reports volume statistics and office visit information.
• Acts as department safety liaison to the PI and safety committees and helps with imaging network initiatives.
