Job summary

Sentara Health Plans seeks a Radiology Manager to oversee MRI, CT, and Diagnostic Radiology at McCleskey and Sentara Norfolk General Comprehensive Breast Centers. The role partners with department supervisors to optimize staffing, workflow, quality and patient experience around the clock.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years radiology and 5+ years of supervisory leadership, ARRT/ARDMS/CNMT certification, and a Bachelor's or equivalent clinical leadership background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; extensive management of hospital departments may substitute.
• ARRT, ARDMS or CNMT certification required; multi-modality certification preferred.
• 5+ years radiology experience required; 5+ years supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Staffing oversight across Radiology; MRI, CT, and Diagnostic Radiology.
• Workflow optimization and patient throughput improvements.
• Quality and regulatory compliance adherence across services.
• Focus on patient experience and safety in daily operations.
• Coordinate with Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography leads; equipment utilization.
• Participate in strategic planning and system-wide initiatives.
• Lead process improvement projects and Sentara-wide operational efforts.
